1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Dozy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Dozy is a text-to-speech application that allows users to create custom voice clones and generate audio narrations of stories. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use to help families stay connected through personalized storytelling.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

4. Children's Privacy

Dozy is designed for parents and caregivers to create personalized bedtime stories for children. The Service is operated by adults for the benefit of children.

• Only adults (18+) may create accounts and use the Service
• Voice recordings must be of consenting adults, not children
• Children may listen to generated stories but should not operate the app independently
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13

If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] so we can delete it.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create voice clones of individuals without their explicit consent
• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our express written consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service

6. Voice Cloning Consent

By uploading voice recordings to create voice clones, you represent and warrant that:

• You have obtained explicit consent from the individual whose voice is being recorded
• The voice clone will only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes
• You will not use the voice clone to deceive, defraud, or harm others

7. Subscription and Payments

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or through the App Store.

All payments are processed securely through Apple (for iOS) or Stripe (for web). We do not store your payment card details on our servers.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Dozy and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the voice recordings you upload and the content you create using the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new terms on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
